Privacy Policy Overview

TruAge Solutions, LLC ("TruAge", "we", "us", "our") provides a secure digital age-verification system designed to make the purchase of age- and quantity-restricted products more convenient, private, and secure for consumers who are of age while keeping these items out of the hand of those who are not eligible to buy them. We are committed to giving you sufficient information to aid in your understanding of our privacy policies. We have developed this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, process, use, share, retain, secure, and transfer your personal information when you visit our website (www.mytruage.org) and any other websites and desktop applications that are owned and operated by TruAge on which this Privacy Policy is posted (collectively, "Site"). This Privacy Policy applies to any users and visitors to the Site, and are referred to herein as "you", "your" or "user."

This Privacy Policy is for visitors to and users of the Site and does NOT apply to your enrollment in or use of TruAge products or services that are subject to a different TruAge privacy policy, or to your interest as a merchant in participating in the TruAge Program. This Privacy Policy applies to you ONLY as a visitor to the Site.

We are providing this Privacy Policy to help you understand our privacy practices and make informed decisions when using our Site. This Privacy Policy is associated with the TruAge Terms of Use, which is binding on all website users and governs your use of the Site [www.mytruage.org/privacypolicy]. Personal Information We Collect

TruAge collects (i) personal information voluntarily supplied by you when you visit our Site, and (ii) automatically collected information collected as you navigate the Site. Specifically, TruAge collects the following information from and about you:

  • contact information, such as first and last name, company, email address, and IP address;
  • when you access and interact with the Site, we may collect certain information about those visits for site operation purposes (e.g., to permit your connection to the Site, our servers receive and record information about your computer, device and browser, browser type, and other software or hardware information); and
  • TruAge uses cookies for your convenience and security. Cookies are text files stored on the browser of your computer. Your Choices and Rights.

Any Personal Information collected by or through our Site will be used only for the purpose it was provided and as described in this Privacy Policy. Once Personal Information is no longer reasonably necessary for business purposes, we will destroy the Personal Information in accordance with our record retention and destruction policies.

We also respect your rights related to your Personal Information under applicable laws such as California and other jurisdictions. By contacting us as described below you can send us your requests related to your Personal Information. We may require that you verify your identity before exercising your individual rights. Additionally, please note that these rights are not absolute, for example, your deletion request does not ensure complete deletion or comprehensive removal, as the content or information may be retained subject to applicable law or where we have a legitimate interest to retain the information.

Do not track signals and requests : Do not track signals and requests are sent from your browser to websites you visit indicating you do not want to be tracked or monitored. Websites are not required to accept these requests and many do not. At this time, our Site does not honor do not track signals or requests.

Marketing Communications.

We will send marketing and informational communications to individuals if they have affirmatively indicated they want to receive them by providing their contact information and selected the appropriate boxes to confirm their choices.
